New Hair- New Vibes

A few days before I returned to school, I decided it was time for a style change! I think one of the easiest ways to change your look without spending insane amounts of money on new clothes is by getting a haircut. I mean sure, haircuts can get a little pricey depending on where you go but the results last for months and completely transform any outfit or look you are trying to achieve.

I decided on going with bangs. Looking back on old pictures, I realized that I hadn’t had bangs since I was in 7th grade. I was a little worried though, since my hair type is naturally curly and bangs would bring more work to my morning routine. However, soon after my locks were trimmed, I found that having bangs and naturally curly hair isn’t necessarily a recipe for disaster!

I know it sounds cliché to say “new year new me” but a fresh haircut can really help you feel like you are off to a new start!

The funny thing is, many people have told me that they find bangs too “childish” or “innocent” for an adult. Well, this adult is doing what she wants and she wanted bangs! As long as your style makes you happy and helps you feel confident, then do it!

Worry less and smile more!

P.S. It has been a blazin’ -10 degrees here in Minnesota these past few days. Stay warm fellow Minnesotans!
