Day 6 in Barcelona, Spain

Hello everyone!

Congrats if you have made it to this post! This post marks my sixth, shortest and final day in Barcelona!

The day began with a short walk to the Picasso Museum of Barcelona.

I wasn’t allowed to take pictures inside the museum but I will insert images of a few of my favorite pieces.

Science and Charity. The museum started by showing some of his earlier works.

Something that I found super interesting that I didn’t know before attending the museum was that Picasso did a series of 57 pieces based off of “Las Meninas” by Velazquez. I will insert the Velazquez work first so that you can see how they compare.

Additionally, I learned that Picasso also did about 42 sets of ceramic work, which is something that I never knew before going to the museum.

The pictures below are taken right outside of the museum.

On our way back from the museum we passed by another Gaudí building.

We returned to our Airbnb and packed up our things and before checking out I snapped a few final pictures of our place.

Before boarding our train to head back to Madrid, we passed by a large group of workers joined together under the UGT striking to gain equal pay.

I love the resistance.

Anyways, I had a spectacular six days in Barcelona and I am so thankful for every second I had in such an amazing and beautiful city! I am now back at home in Toledo and I am ready to start studying for my finals, which are next week!

Worry less and smile more.
