Hello my friends!
As you all should already know based on the plethora of Facebook posts, advertisements and newscasts- today is election day in the United States! I already woke up at the bright and early hour of 7:00 AM (hey I am a college student) and voted in my first election.
I don’t wish to impose my political beliefs or stances upon you today. All I want to say is that I encourage you to vote. The polls in Minnesota don’t close until 8 PM tonight and as long as you get in line before that you will be able to vote.
For those of you who don’t want anything to do with the presidential election- remember that there are other candidates on the ballot who are local and also play a crucial role in the political process. You only have to vote for the candidates that you wish.
I am just going to keep this short and sweet. Ask yourself, what am I voting for? What issues are important to me? What stances will have an effect on myself and those I love and care about? Who am I willing to support?
I hope you all have a great selection day and you GET OUT AND VOTE!
P.S. Here is the link for the poll finder for Minnesota.
Worry less and smile more.
