Re-Adjusting Back to College

Hello my friends!

Sorry about the lack of regular posting as I have had a very busy past week or so. Last Saturday I moved back into college. I am still living in the dorms but this year I have a roommate and I am in a new location. Thus far, things have been going great with the housing situation!

Huge shoutout to my family, friends and boyfriend who helped me move my stuff in!

As for college itself, I feel that it is always difficult at first to adjust to a completely new circumstance. While I am missing my family, I also must remember that when I am at school, I am surrounded by friends and other people who care about me. I also have definitely been feeling the stress that comes with starting a full schedule of classes, but I must remember to be appreciative of this stress as it is an indicator that I am able to get a college education.

If you were wondering how I was feeling the first day of school, just take a look at the picture below: (the caption and picture were created by my friend Ronnie)

Don’t get me wrong, I am so excited to be back at school and reunited with my campus family. I just have to remind myself that the stress and busy-ness of school is worth all of the positivity surrounding the situation.

Good luck to other fellow college students out there!

Worry less and smile more.
